Updated 11 October 2026 · Draft for clinic approval · WhatsApp appointment requests
Who handles your information
ASHA Women’s Health Clinic, 101, Major Deepak Tyagi Marg, Block A2, Janakpuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110058, operates Dr. Nitika Grover’s appointment service. The receptionist handles appointment and privacy requests; Dr. Grover and the receptionist have access to the clinic’s booking conversations.
For a question, correction, withdrawal or deletion request, contact ashawomenshealthclinic@gmail.com or call +91 85956 31731. The clinic may ask for limited information to check that the request relates to you. Please do not email identity documents unless the clinic explains why they are necessary and how to provide them safely.
What we use for booking
The form asks for your name, preferred date and preferred time. It prepares a message on your device. The website does not send these entries to its own booking server or save them in browser storage. Opening the prepared link shares its text with WhatsApp; the clinic receives the message only after you press Send in WhatsApp. The clinic also sees your WhatsApp number and any profile information your settings make visible.
These details are used only to arrange, confirm or change your appointment, not for marketing. Sending a request does not reserve a time; the clinic must confirm availability. For other appointment enquiries, contact the clinic by phone, WhatsApp or email.
No reports or medical history through booking
Please do not send reports, prescriptions, photographs, symptoms, reproductive-health information or medical history through this booking form or the appointment chat. They are not requested for booking. Discuss medical concerns with the doctor during your consultation.
As described by the clinic, patients retain their prescriptions. This website is not a medical-record store. Appointment-message retention is separate from any clinical records that the doctor or hospital must maintain under applicable requirements.
Consent and your choices
The unchecked consent box covers sharing appointment details through WhatsApp so the clinic can respond. It does not authorise marketing, an examination or treatment. You can choose to call the clinic instead. You can ask the receptionist to stop using your details for booking, correct them, or delete the clinic’s copy where applicable. Withdrawal may mean the clinic cannot continue arranging the appointment; it does not invalidate earlier lawful use or override recordkeeping obligations.
Access and retention
Within the clinic, booking conversations are accessed by Dr. Grover and the receptionist. Ordinary booking conversations are kept for a maximum of three weeks. Pregnancy-related conversations are kept for a maximum of six months from the second consultation. If no second consultation takes place, these conversations are kept for no more than one month after the first consultation. This is not a promise to delete clinical records that must legally be retained.
Before this draft is final: the clinic must confirm how deletion applies to linked devices, exports and backups, including whether any copies remain after a conversation is deleted.
Deleting a clinic chat does not delete the patient’s copy or guarantee removal of information retained by WhatsApp or another provider under its own policies.
Patients under 18 — proposed policy
For an online appointment request concerning a patient under 18, a parent or lawful guardian should contact the clinic and provide only the details needed to arrange the visit. Please do not send identity documents, medical reports or sensitive details through this form or the booking chat.
If you are under 18 and cannot safely involve a parent or guardian, contact the clinic directly so the doctor can explain the appropriate next steps. An online booking requirement should not prevent a young person from asking for help. This website and appointment chat are not emergency services.
The doctor will explain the consultation and any examination or treatment in an age-appropriate way, involve the young person in decisions, and determine what guardian consent or verification is required for the particular care. Agreement to an appointment message is not verification of parental authority or consent to medical treatment.
Information is handled respectfully and shared only as needed for care or as required by law. Absolute confidentiality cannot be promised: safeguarding concerns, suspected child sexual offences or other legal duties may require disclosure to the appropriate authorities. The doctor will explain these limits where appropriate and safe.
Third-party services
Clicking a WhatsApp link takes you to a service provided by WhatsApp. A prepared booking link includes the message text in its URL; that URL may remain in browser history. WhatsApp processes account, device, connection and usage information under its own policies. The clinic sees messages you choose to send. WhatsApp’s encryption does not prevent the intended clinic recipients from reading a message, and backup protections depend on account settings. Read WhatsApp’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Google Maps
The embedded map connects to Google when it loads, even if you do not click Directions. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser/device details and map interactions, and may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. Opening Directions also takes you to Google Maps. Read Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Website hosting
This website is hosted on Vercel. Serving and protecting the website can involve processing technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, device/browser information and timestamps. The appointment form does not post booking details to Vercel. Provider-managed logs and retention are separate from the clinic’s WhatsApp chat policy. Read Vercel’s privacy notice (opens in a new tab).
Email, phone and external links
An email link opens your email application; the clinic’s published Gmail address uses Google’s email service. Your email and telephone providers process communications under their own terms. Do not send reports or sensitive medical information in a general booking email. External websites and service providers may process information outside India under their own arrangements; the clinic does not control their independent policies.
Analytics and advertising
We have not added website analytics, advertising trackers or marketing forms. This does not mean that embedded maps, hosting or communication providers process no technical information or use no cookies.
Draft status
The clinic must approve the proposed minors procedure and confirm the remaining retention and backup details before this notice is final. This notice describes appointment handling, not the full clinical consent or medical-record process.
